Radiology Technologist

JOB FUNCTION:

All technologists will be required to perform multi-modality exams. EX: routine, fluoro, CT, US, MRI.

Technician will need to have computer skills. He or she will have to be able to work well alone at times. He or she will have to make themselves available for multiple shifts. The department is covered 24 hours a day in house. Technologists must be familiar with all aspects of the Radiology Department. EX: 1. Online order entry 2. Billing 3. Digital imaging 4. Proper transportation of patients 5. Handling of critically injured patients.

License:

· Current licensure as a Radiographer in the State of Louisiana is required

· Current ARRT is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour
