Education:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Completion of an accredited MRI technology program
- ARRT certification in MRI
Skills:
- Proficiency in using MRI equipment and software
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality imaging results
- Proficiency in medical record-keeping and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist
- Experience with a variety of MRI procedures, including contrast injections and specialized imaging techniques
- Familiarity with various patient populations and medical conditions
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for MRI scans and explaining the procedure to them
- Operating MRI equipment and software to produce high-quality images
- Monitoring patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort
- Administering contrast agents as needed
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care
- Maintaining and troubleshooting MRI equipment as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $55.00 – $63.00 per hour
