Education:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Completion of an accredited CT program
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT

Skills:

• Knowledge of CT equipment and technology
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on CT scanning
• Familiarity with emergency radiology and trauma procedures
• Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians
• Set up and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Monitor patients during the scanning process and adjust imaging parameters as necessary
• Review and analyze images to ensure proper positioning and image quality
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make diagnoses
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $55.00 – $67.00 per hour
